Fennec - Firefox Mobile

New phone home

Recently we posted a new temporary home for information about the Fennec project. We’re working on building out the information here and making it nice and shiny for the Windows Mobile beta release this summer. Silver Orange did a great job of creating a fun and friendly phone illustration that fit nicely among the other illustrations on the Mozilla.com website. If you haven’t seen Madhav’s excellent overview video, check it out. Read more about the mission and the features. And look for more content soon as the beta release approaches.

  1. Hi, I think you should use video tag instead flash, and only use flash if video tag is not used by the browser.

    I had converted that video some time ago for our community site: Mozilla Hispano:

  2. Why do you call “Fennec for PC” as emulated version? I know some people prefer to use Fennec on their netbook instead of any other browser (including Firefox) because of its features.

    Please also make sure the product will be able to work well on Windows Mobile 5 as most WindowsMobile devices I seen are actually WM5 and the advanced users have Opera Mobile running on these.
