Spread Firefox Affiliates Program Survey Results
We recently conducted a survey over at Spread Firefox, asking members of the Affiliate program some questions that will help with the phase 2 roll-out of the program. Juliana did a great job pulling the survey together and has posted the full results over at Spread Firefox. There were a few interesting results that I wanted to highlight:
- The vast majority of survey respondents are relatively new to the affiliate program — less than one month old. It’s exciting that so many members have joined up since Download Day and have shown strong interest to spread Firefox.
- Affiliates want more information about the program — especially how to earn points and what they are used for. We’re definitely working to address this with phase 2 of the program by reorganizing the Affiliates homepage and updating the FAQ with more complete information.
- Affiliates rarely change their buttons. Prior to the Firefox 3 launch, there was a pretty limited set of buttons and banners. With the launch of Firefox 3 and phase 2 of the program, we’re working on ways that we can not only create a wider variety of buttons for program members, but also ways we can “open source” all of our graphics files so Affiliates around the world can have buttons with their preferred language.
If you didn’t have a chance to take the survey, there’s always an opportunity to provide more feedback or get involved with the program. Just head over to the Affiliates Program group at Spread Firefox.
