The Mozilla Community Store launched yesterday with some really amazing ready-to-wear t-shirts and, even better yet, the opportunity to create your very own Mozilla inspired designs and add them to some cool merchandise. As the Mozilla store photographer, I’ve had a lot of fun behind the viewfinder, taking photos of our in-house models wearing the freshest Mozilla gear (some outtakes that didn’t make the final cut this time around can be seen here).
(our shirts cause a ripple effect)
But rather than just write about other people wearing Mozilla t-shirts, I’m going to start wearing more of them myself — a lot more.
Some people are joining the N.S.I.D. movement. I implore you to join the N.L.I.D. (no Laundry in December) challenge, a truly egalitarian initiative, and wear a Mozilla related t-shirt every day for the rest of 2008. And, for those that want to start ‘09 off right, continue on into the next year.
The fun starts on Monday, December 8. View this as an opportunity to liberate yourself from the arduous task of having to decide what to wear in the morning. It’s simple. Just put all your Mozilla shirts in a drawer, and pull one out. To be clear (and courteous to others), it does not count if you wear the same shirt more than one day (weekends are exempt).
And if you need reinforcements, both the Mozilla Community Store and the Mozilla Store have a plethora of designs, styles, and sizes ready to help you in your quest.
Be your own Mozilla community store photographer this month — tag your photos on flickr with the tags “spreadfirefox” and “NLID”.
This is largely for pride — the person that has the longest consecutive t-shirt streak may get something for an extraordinary effort. I’m starting next Monday, and I urge you to do the same.
Good luck, and threadspeed.

(We can do it!)
Incredible idea! I’m in…at least for the first few days.
Hilarious
and I love that rippled photo.
